KATE MIDDLETON'S ROYAL BLUE STYLE!

New York may be ensconced in Fashion Week flurry, yet style as usual continues around the world––and across the pond.

At the Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London last night, for instance, Kate Middleton shone in navy blue Jenny Packham. Her lovely gown featured a tight bodice, sweetheart neckline and floor-length skirt, complemented by a stunning diamond necklace (reportedly a loaner from the Queen herself.)

Certainly, diamonds so awe-inspiring demand an understated dress, and Kate's classic silhouette made a perfect canvas for her royal bling.

While we may not step out in priceless gems on a regular basis, we do have quite a collection of rhinestone sparklies, and can thusly take a cue from Kate's look by remembering to dress down when sparkled up. Indeed, the Duchess of Cambridge has royal style down pat.

Speaking of royals, we bet you can't guess which face cream is the choice of Prince Harry? That's right; it's the same one your mom probably stores in her beauty arsenol.Elizabeth arden's eight hour cream.(ELLE)

RIDICULOUS ROYAL BABY GIFT ALERT :$15,000 BRACELET FOR KATE MIDDLETON DOUBLES AS A DIAPER CREAM HOLDER !

The royal baby gifts are officially rolling in.

With the highly anticipated birth just days away, designers are busy creating the perfect gift for Kate Middleton, but the latest lavish present may be the most ridiculous gift yet.

British jeweler Theo Fennell, whose celebrity clients include the Beckhams, Elton John and Madonna, has been commissioned by Sudocrem to create a jewel-encrusted, 18 karat white gold charm bracelet...that doubles as a diaper rash cream holder.

The high-end jewelry piece is reportedly worth over $15,000.

While it may be glamorous at first glance, the bracelet features a small jeweled container modeled after the Sudocrem diaper rash pot where the duchess can stash the perfect amount of diaper cream while still maintaining her always-stylish appearance (how convenient!).

After the baby arrives and the little one's name is revealed, the royal heir's initials will be engraved on a charm placed next to the pot to personalize the present.

However, Middleton will never receive the gift, as the bracelet is being auctioned to raise money for the East Anglia Children's Hospice.

"We have decided to auction this very special bracelet to raise money for one of the Duchess' favorite charities," a Sudocrem spokesperson said. "In the spirit of giving it's about putting something back."

"I am thrilled to make this miniature pot and bracelet for Sudocrem," Fennell said of his latest design. "I understand the proceeds will be going to an incredibly worthwhile charity."

The extravagant gift is the latest in a long line of presents for the mama-to-be, who is due to give birth to her first child with husband Prince William July 14.

The Finish government recently sent the couple a Finnish baby box. The cardboard box, which is distributed to all expectant mothers in Finland and doubles as a sleeping vessel when empty, contains a mattress, mattress cover, undersheet, sleeping bag, duvet cover and blanket, various clothing items, as well as a number of grooming products.

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard also knitted a kangaroo for Will & Kate's bundle of joy, although she's been widely criticized for the classic gift.

ROYAL BABY WATCH! CAMERA'S LINE UP WEEKS EARLY AT KATE MIDDLETON'S HOSPITAL!

Hurry up and wait!

Photographers have already begun lining up at St. Mary's Hospital, where Kate Middleton is set to give birth to her first child with Prince William.

The cameras may be getting warmed up, but the Duchess of Cambridge's due date isn't for another few weeks.

It appears that British media is so ecstatic about the impending birth they can hardly wait!

The hospital, which is located in London's Paddington district, is making the final preparations to house Middleton and the future royal heir.

St. Mary's is the same hospital where Kate's husband was born 31 years ago, as was her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, a few years after that. William was actually the first future king of England to be born in a hospital, his father, Prince Charles, was born at Buckingham Palace while Charles' sister, Princess Anne, was born at Clarence House.

Middleton is slated to set up shop in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's, which is quite literally fit for a queen. Each suite offers a satellite TV, radio, safe, bedside phone, Internet access and a refrigerator. There is also a hotel services team which will personally cater to Kate's dietary needs. A wine list is also offered in the Lindo Wing, for when family and friends want to share a toast to their special delivery.

A "normal" night at the Lindo Wing requires a £5,500 ($8,600) deposit, and rates run £1,000 ($1,560) per 24 hours stayed over any originally scheduled time.

So what are the cameras lining up for exactly?

History would have it that the world gets its first glimpse of the royal baby when Kate and William bring him or her out in front of the hospital to meet the press, just as Princess Diana did with her two boys.

Everyone wins it seems: Mum and dad are prepared about what to expect (total madness, most likely) and we don't have to wait! However, should the new parents decide to go against tradition and not go that route, an official picture of the baby will be forthcoming.

It's only a matter of time before everyone gets to meet the latest addition to the royal family!

KATE MIDDLETON'S LOOK-ALIKE MAKES $1,500 PER APPEARANCE!

Is that you, Kate Middleton?

No, it's just Gabriella Munro-Douglas, a Windsor woman who's cashing in on looking like Prince William’s pregnant wife.

The 26-year-old brunette, who definitely strikes a resemblance to the famous royal and mom-to-be, recently began working as a Kate look-alike. And get this: Munro-Douglas can make up to $1,565 per appearance!

"I had people asking if I would pose topless after the duchess was snapped on holiday in France," she tells the Daily Mail, "I don't want to tarnish Kate's image and do not want to do anything to damage mine or her reputation."

While she turned down the topless gig, Munro-Douglas does often meet with fans in public and pose for pics outside Windsor Castle

"It is so much fun being Kate's look-alike and people are so nice and friendly to me all the time," she admits. "But getting mobbed is quite bizarre and is like a snapshot of being a celebrity. In a few minutes I go from being my normal self to putting my dress on and people following me around. When they start to crowd around it can be intimidating."

Just imagine what the real Kate Middleton goes through!

KATE MIDDLETON REPORTEDLY CONSIDERING HYPNO-BIRTH!

Looks like Kate Middleton will be a thoroughly modern princess … even as she gives birth.

A new report says the Duchess of Cambridge is looking into hypno-birthing – an experimental practice that aims to reduce anxiety – when she delivers the latest member of the Windsor Dynasty.

"Kate has researched various birthing methods. She wants it to be natural, so hypno-birthing is one option that appealed and she had been reading up on it and listening to CDs to get into the right frame of mind," a source was said to have told Italian tabloid Grazie.

Hypno-birthing’s philosophy is all about simplicity -- think of it as a Whole Foods-style birth plan as opposed to Target.

"The birthing body and the baby know just what to do. Hypno-birthing is designed to teach women to trust in Nature's way of birth and to relax and let their bodies do what is needed,"

The report also says Kate will deliver the royal heir at Paddington Hospital in London, where her husband, Prince William was born.

While the glowing Duchess is almost at the finish line, she stepped out on Thursday to christen a new fleet of Princess Cruise ships -- a chore done by William's beloved mother, Diana, in the ‘80s.
Rocking a chic overcoat and fascinator, Middleton looks ready to offer up that royal baby -- and soon.

KATE MIDDLETON: PREGNANT AND ALONE?

In all seriousness, being a future King is a lot of work with a ton of responsibility, and Prince William probably has a lot to do.But we can't help but notice that while William tags along when his family's involved, like the QUEENS CORONATION ANNIVERSARY or when it's fun, like the  HARRY POTTER exhibit, Kate often just shows up with the necessary security to events and charity engagements.

We're not sure if this is a celebration of total independent womanhood-or if it's a sad-face gallery. But here you have it.Kate Middleton, being pregnant and alone?
