BODY SHAVING- TO SHAVE/WAX OR NOT TO SHAVE?

THE LINE BETWEEN SEXY AND SCARY IS VERY THIN!
In this our hot Naija weather,we surrender ourselves to clothing we can't do without; tank tops, tights, leggings, beach wears, handless gowns, etc all body revealing clothes. And with these comes the exposure of our arms,under-arms and legs.

There's really no hygienic purpose for body shaving (except of course the pubic hair). There just seemed to be a growing tendency in the generation under 20/30 to see body hair as disgusting,as it is universally practiced in all modern cultures.Someone just thought shaving made clothes look better; it became a fashion.

Not all women shave, some women don't have the time or patience to perform the grooming ritual of shaving their bodies. But we must agree that shaving has an effect on the kind of clothes we choose to wear. For example, you can't wear a handless dress with an armpit full of hair, neither can you wear a very short dress with hairy legs. The companies that sell women razors, shaving gels, waxes, tweezers and countless other hair removal products make billions a year based on this fact. Not to mention the endless number of beauty spas and shops where they make a living from hair removal.
Like most women, I shave not because it is fashionable, but because it makes me feel clean and have a neat appearance. It might be a little inconveniencing as the hair seems to grow back ever so often, but just the way you take your time to shave your under arms, the arms and legs should be taken care of too.
It is unfair that men don't have to pay such attention to their body hair, infact it is seen as been masculine. But let's just add it to our growing list of "what a woman has to do".waxing and the use of shaving gels/foams/creams is recommended during shaving, especially for women that have "after-effects" of shaving with a blade such as itching and inflammation.
So should women/ladies who don't shave show some skin?
